2K Games informed us that a second Serious Sam II demo will be released this Monday at 10 AM! The new level incorporates the recently released patch (fixing issues with the interface + multiplayer), and includes an additional level from the full game that can be played in both single and co-op multiplayer! For those who already have the full game, the level is "Greendale". We will of course have it available on our fileserver network at the aforementioned time.

Land of the Dead: Road to Fiddler's Green is a full-featured, first-person shooter video game setting players in the midst of a gruesome adventure in which they battle to save themselves – and a quickly-diminishing living population - from an army of the dead bent on spreading a zombie plague. Groove Games has released a demo, feauturing a cinematic intro and one mission.

UFO: Aftershock follows directly from one of the endings of UFO: Aftermath, where the player agrees to hand over the Earth to the Alien scientists, who are trying to change the planet into a giant living organism. The Council of Earth and their followers take refuge on an orbiting satellite prepared for them by the aliens, but not all the survivors of the original invasion where re-located. This demo features three missions situated in London, Paris and Stuttgart (thanks strategycore).

Gun will be a GTA-style game, set in the West in the 1880s, in cities such as Dodge City and New Mexico's Las Vegas. The murderous 'Dodge City Gang' has been on a rampage and you seek revenge, hunting them down between Indians and Mexican pistoleros. Main mode of transportation is any horse you can find or steal, and of course, Gun will include high speed "horse" pursuits.

Microsoft today announced at the DigitalLife conference in New York City the availability of a new software update for its WinXP Media Center Edition 2005 that enables you to stream digital music, videos, photos, and standard and high-definition television and movies from Media Center PCs to any television in their home via the Xbox 360.

In another example of the videogame industry teaming with Hollywood talent, Steven Spielberg has signed an agreement with Electronic Arts to create three original videogame franchises. Initial work has already begun on the first title, but EA is keeping it tightly under wraps, though speculation is that it will be in the sci-fi or action/adventure genre.

Oblivion is a single-player game that takes place in Tamriel's capital province, Cyrodiil. You are given the task of finding the hidden heir to a throne that sits empty, the previous emperor having been killed by an unknown assassin. Oblivion is another leap forward in role-playing with its combination of freeform gameplay and cutting-edge graphics. Various online outlets have cited that Take 2 has slightly delayed the game from its original Nov 22nd date to December 5th to give it extra polishing. The GameStop product page has now also been updated to reflect this change, but this is still unconfirmed.
