What would a Bully movie be about? Or a flick based on the controversial Manhunt series? We might never know. According to
Variety's gaming blog, Take Two has been declining Hollywood offers for a Grand Theft Auto movie deal for many years, until it nearly materialized last year, with Eminem rumored as the protagonist. Just when everybody though the deal was sealed, something derailed, and the project with one of the major movie studios was scrapped.

Rockstar has launched a viral marketing campaign and is putting up "wanted" posters from the "City of Liberty Police Department" all over North America, showing pictures of Niko, Elizabeta, Mannie and other characters from GTA IV.

Initially, Take Two pinned the GTA IV release to
Oct. 2007, assuring there would be
no delay, while delaying it shortly thereafter to the more ambiguous
Q1 2008. At the BMO Capital Markets Interactive Entertainment Conference, CEO Strauss Zelnick went even further and took the "When It's Done" attitude, saying, "we weren't able to stick to our firm date the last time. We're going to give a firm date when we are utterly convinced that we have it and that isn't right now."

WKTT radio station , Rockstar is offering fans a chance to pick up the phone and call the legit phone # advertised, and leaving a message of any sort.
