Sony announced at the Tokyo Game Show (TGS) that Polyphony Digital's eagerly awaited racing game Gran Turismo 4 will be available in Japanese stores on December 3rd, while it is expected in the USA and Europe the week of December 14th. One surprising turn of events though, Gran Turismo 4 will not feature any online/multiplayer mode as this seems to have been dropped in order to meet the holiday/Christmas rush. However it was revealed that an all new GT title is scheduled for late 2005, supposedly "with" online play, although no further information was provided.

SEGA of America today announced the development of Super Monkey Ball Deluxe, which will bring SEGA's popular arcade series to PS2 and Xbox consumers for the first time.
