An interesting tidbit appeared in Ascaron's official Sacred forum when forum member asked whether the US version of Sacred would have the same blood & gore level as the European edition. Ascaron's Ingo Mohr replied : "Our partner Encore wanted to get a 12+ rating for Sacred and they did. We will do nothing to endanger the rating or the distribution policy of Encore in the US. I think this is quite understandable" (

Isle of Man TT Superbikes will feature on the channel around the launch along with a strong presence at this year's TT event in June. There will be several promotions including prize give-away copies of the game to Men and Motors viewers. The game will also feature the Men and Motors Suzuki superbike, which will race at this year's event. Gathering announced today that it has obtained the North American publishing rights for Conflict: Vietnam from SCi Entertainment Group Plc. Conflict: Vietnam, the next installment of the Conflict series, is a fictional third person shooter that follows four US soldiers cut off from their unit behind enemy lines during the 1968 Tet Offensive. Conflict: Vietnam is expected to be released in North America in Fall 2004 on multiple platforms.

The game is very dependant on the player's stealth ability. The animals are far from defenseless, and therein lay's the challenge! The hunter is often the hunted and lack of caution will lead you to a quick end. Before you know it a tiger has you in its claws, or an elephant is using you as a doormat. The animals in Poacher are very dangerous, and the player is in constant peril. Small note folks, Tigers like to attack from behind, and you'll never see it coming....

Agetec's Mark 'Duhrin' Johnson revealed on
the official Agetec forum that From Software's upcoming horror/FPS "Shadow Tower: Abyss" has been rejected by SCEA's (Sony Computer Entertainment America) Quality Control department and therefor is now cancelled. According to Johnson, reason for the thumbs down was the poor graphics and the fact that there was no market for this type of game in North America. Metro3D might still release 'Shadow Tower: Abyss' in Europe. If you want to read more about it then head on over to
