Today it was THQ's turn to disclose their financial results for the third quarter of fiscal 2004, which ended December 31, 2003. Besides listing which title did well, and which didn't, the statement also reveals that S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Oblivion Lost would now be called S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl, and that the Xbox version of Full Spectrum Warrior has been rescheduled from March 2004 to June 8, 2004, while the PC version is scheduled for September 2004. Sony Online Entertainment has exciting news for all EverQuest players. As the world of Norrath evolves and expands, so too does the technology powering EverQuest. Perimeter is a real-time strategy game built on the concept of territory seizure using detailed terraforming and on the subsequent encircling of these zones with a special protective perimeter. The game combines proven principles of controlling resources and unit groups with titles featuring a clear-cut seizure of living space. The gamer has three powers at his or her disposal: The first is terraforming. The second is being able to surround areas of land with an impenetrable force barrier generated by special perimeter units. NCsoft Corporation today announced Toy Strikers, the third of NCsoft-developed games following Lineage and Lineage II. The game maker has been developing Toy Strikers over the past year. Unlike its two predecessors Lineage and Lineage II, both of which are MMORPGs (Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game), Toy Strikers is a massively multiplayer shooting game, and the first product for casual gamers developed by NCsoft.

Already revealed in yesterday's financial results, Ubisoft is excited to announce that the Xbox, PC and GBA versions of Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow, the new adventure from the world of Tom Clancy, is on track to ship for the end of March. Due to development issues, and the groups' commitment to making these versions the same high quality as the Xbox version, the PS2 and GameCube will launch at a later date. This date is still to be confirmed. There's a single player mode and an "incredibly addictive" online version.
