Square Enix U.S.A., Inc. announced today that 'Final Fantasy X-2' for the PlayStation2 will ship to North American retailers on November 18, 2003, weeks earlier than the originally scheduled December release date. 'Final Fantasy X-2', the first female-led FINAL FANTASY game in the franchise’s history, is the sequel to FINAL FANTASY X, one of the best-selling PlayStation 2 titles. Released in December 2001 in North America, 'Final Fantasy X' has sold over 6.4 million units worldwide to date.

Other new features and improvements include four new leagues, a pre-game database editor (enabling you to keep data updated), the ability to view previously saved matches, updated players, team and competition data for the 2003/2004 season. Universal Combat brings the greatest components of war together in a single game. Conceived in late 2001 as Battlecruiser Generations, the fifth in the Battlecruiser series, the game has grown into much more than a massive space simulation. Universal Combat is due to be distributed by Mindscape in the UK in November 2003. Unfortunately due to time constraints and a looming Gold date, plans for the demo have been put on hold.
