Shacknews reports that Grand Theft Auto fans won't go long without another fix of wanton violence and pillaging. GTA3 Xbox is a given (with online play?), but we'll also soon hear the details on GTA4. Rockstar's stayin' silent on the subject, but I could name a few hundred thousand fans ready to part with $50 a piece for it. The current talk indicates that DMA will take the GTA3 framework and turn it into a massively multiplayer online game for the four installment, where you're free to create your own mobs and anyone in the city could be a "real" person. Word is it'll also be set in a real U.S. city this time.

Fishtank Interactive have released their monthly newsletter. Here is the updates for Arx Fatalis:
The sales version of Arx Fatalis is multi-lingual and includes the complete English, French and German localisation. The originally planned multiplayer mode was already deleted some time ago. As it would have constituted a completely new game, it would have been very difficult to meet the schedule. A version with fewer features was out of the question for quality reasons. There are considerations however to offer the multiplayer version as a game of its own. In any case, we have been able to fully concentrate on the single player mode, which now offers between 80 and 100 hours of gaming fun. The trilingual Arx Fatalis homepage is now really online at

PC.IGN let us know that Raven's Soldier of Fortune II, the visceral, and surely to be controversial first-person shooter sequel, will be seeing a spring release because of the extra time required by the game's developer, Raven, to enhance and perfect the title's random mission generator and multiplayer component. The newly improved AI, graphics, and play style built into SoF II should prove to be well worth the wait for both fans of the original as well as the genre as a whole, whenever the hell it ends up shipping.
