CDV announces that "Combat Mission Beyond Overlord: Special Edition" for the PC is available in retail stores. Lauded by GameSpot as "one of the best war games ever made for the computer," "Combat Mission" combines turn-based and real-time tactical action. Previously only offered for sale online, the special retail version of this World War II game includes more than 100 additional scenarios, improved in-game environments, and new vehicles, uniforms and enhanced sound.

CDV announces that "Blitzkrieg" for the PC will be available in North American retail stores on May 13. Players can assume their rightful place among great generals by commanding Allies, German or Soviets as they advance through the decisive battles of World War II. Rated "T" by the ESRB.

CDV Software Entertainment has announced its lineup of titles on display at this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) in Los Angeles. For the sixth year in a row, CDV joins the cream of the games business at the Convention Center for the hottest game show of the year.

"We are very excited about our 2003 release schedule, as among other things this year marks CDV's crossover to the console market, and for the first time we will display our two Xbox titles, Vultures and The Kore Gang", says Anita Rodic, CDV's PR Manager UK.

CDV Software today announces its new website is live. The new portal is designed to integrate the newest information on CDV's games and the company site. The new website features a very user-friendly navigational structure, as everything is a three page click away from the main site. CDV Software Entertainment today announced that the historical real-time strategy game "Cossacks: Back to war" is now available in stores. "Cossacks: Back to War" includes all of the strategic power and pageantry of the original real-time strategy bestseller "Cossacks: European Wars" as well as the first expansion pack "Cossacks: The Art of War," and adds two new playable nations - Switzerland and Hungary.

• Project Nomads for Xbox - After the release of Project Nomads for PC, the people from RadonLabs are working under high pressure on the upcoming Xbox version of the game.

CDV Software Entertainment AG has today signed the rights to publish the 3D tactical combat title PANZERS. The game, to be published on the PC format, is developed by Hungarian studio Stormregion and to be released end of 2003. More info below with some early screens!

CDV Software Entertainment has today signed the rights to publish Combat Mission 2: Barbarossa to Berlin throughout Europe. Due to be released during September 2002, the game is the sequel to one of the most popular strategy games of recent times – and one that has consistently scored in the high 80s and 90s.

CDV just let us know that they have launched the official site for Nival Interactive's isometric World War II RTS, 'Blitzkrieg'. There you can find game story, game features, the usual FAQ, screenshots and plenty more to keep you happy until the real deal comes along.
