Last week UbiSoft's VP of publishing Jay Cohen resigned indicating that he would be working with a more traditional entertainment company in Los Angeles. According to recently filed court documents, Midway is looking for "execution of an asset purchase agreement for the sale of Midway's Mortal Kombat franchise assets," which means it wants to sell the MK franchise, giving upper management a bonus for doing so, while cutting employees' promised PTO (personal time off).
