GoneGold that the PC version of Infogrames Zapper (developed by Blitz Games) has gone gold and should be shipping to stores soon. Zapper is a funny arcade/action game that "starts with the “avoid-em-up” game play mechanics of Blitz Games’ own Frogger 2: Swampy’s Revenge, and then takes the action to a whole new level." ORIGIN, an Electronic Arts development studio, today announced the five-year anniversary of Ultima Online (UO), marking the event with discounts of the latest version of UO and by unveiling a new U.S. shard, an area within the game, where players can get in on the ground floor to begin a brand new adventure. In addition, ORIGIN is launching a retrospective five-year anniversary Web site that will feature original UO art and special moments shared by UO players worldwide. BAM! Entertainment today announced that its first title for the Xbox video game system from Microsoft, Chase: Hollywood Stunt Driver, has gone gold and will be the first published title from Microsoft's Incubator Program when it reaches retail shelves later this month. The title was developed by South African-based I-Imagine Interactive, which became the first independent developer in the world to be signed up with Microsoft's Incubator Program and is the only licensed Xbox developer on the African continent.

Silent Hill 2: Inner Fears takes players to the eerie town of Silent Hill, where they assume the role of James Sunderland. James has received a cryptic letter from his wife, asking him to meet her in Silent Hill, a place that holds great meaning for the couple.
