TVG let us know that Take 2 Interactive today announced the PC version of the hit PlayStation 2 game Grand Theft Auto 3 will ship for PC during April of 2002. It may seam a little far away but hopefully the developers will have time to tweak the game for maximum performance on the PC.

Rockstar Games launched Phase Two of the official website for Grand Theft Auto 3. Phase Two of the website unlocks Staunton Island, presenting a virtual tour of the bustling commercial district of Liberty City. Staunton Island is home to some of the seediest characters and businesses in Liberty City. Check out some new screens below aswell!!

The previous incarnations of Grand Theft Auto have achieved cult status worldwide and have sold over 4.5 million units to date. Now, the third instalment of Grand Theft Auto is set to hit the world stage October 2001 on PlayStationR 2 as a ground breaking, genre busting title.
