Capcom is working on bringing the original Gamecube (based on the 1996 PSOne game) title in the Resident Evil series to the Wii. Currently only scheduled for a December release in Japan, the port will add no new content or features, apart from making it compatible with the Wiimote controls.

Although the 'Saw' video game was revealed late last year, it has been quiet around the horror game based on the movie franchise, with no official announcement or footage released yet. With the recent demise of Brash Entertainment, the SAW game is being shopped around, according to
Bloody-Disgusting, with voice-over work already having been done. Using the Unreal Engine 3, Saw is being developed with the creators of the SAW movies, Leigh Whannell & James Wan, but it is highly unlikely the game will keep its Oct. 2009 release date if it does not find a new publisher soon.

Mafia II, developed by the original creators Illusion Softworks, features a deep mobster-driven narrative packed with both behind-the-wheel and on-foot action. The Illusion engine was specifically written for Mafia II, and successor to IS' LS3D engine which was used in the original game. According to the few details out there the new engine will rival CryEngine 2 (Crysis) and support only DX10, use Nvidia PhysX, be twice as big as Mafia, and include various methods of transportation (card, subways, metros, bus..)
