The Halo movie roller coaster is picking up speed again, as Stuart Beattie, known for writing the Spy Hunter and Gears of War movies, has written a script based on Eric Nylund first Halo book, The Fall of Reach, which chronicles Master Chief's emergence from the other Spartans which eventually led to the discovery of Halo. Conceptual artist Kasra Farahani (known for Hancock, Spider-Man 3) has been given the green light to put together scenes as part of an eventual presentation to Microsoft.

Guitar Hero fans will channel their inner rock god, experience new features and content including a new multiplayer action-inspired battle mode, grueling boss battles, unlockable content and authentic rock venues. Sinking Island is a dark detective adventure story set on a tropical paradise. At a millionaire's hotel a crime is committed, and while the island seems to be sinking for unknown reasons, you, as detective Jack Norm, have to find out who did it.

Codemasters' Rise Of The Argonauts is an action/rpg, developed by Liquid Entertainment, set in ancient Greece where you will embark on an epic quest, and encounter legendary figures such as Jason, Hercules and Atalanta.

A Thai 18-year-old high school student confessed to robbing and murdering a 54-year-old taxi driver with a knife on Monday, claiming he wanted to find out if it was as easy in real life to rob a taxi as it was in GTA IV. Police said the teen was an obsessive player of the video game, showed no sign of mental problems and confessed committing the crime explicitly because of the game. If found guilty, he faces death by lethal injection. Thailand currently has no game ratings, but the Thai distributor dropped the game due to this incident.
