At Gamefest 2008 Microsoft announced that its online multiplayer gaming service Games for Windows Live becomes completely free, even for cross-platform gameplay with X360 users. This fall Microsoft will also launch a new Marketplace for Games for Windows Live, where gamers will be able to download free/new content for existing games, demos, trailers and more.

While GT 5 Prologue is available for download/on Blu-ray, sporting improved AI, and for the first time includes multiplayer up to 16 cars with integrated online features, gamers are surely looking forward to the full Gran Turismo 5 release. Unfortunately those people may be in for a long wait as Polyphony Digital's Yamauchi
revealed that the team is currently focusing on adding content to GT 5 Prologue (such as vehicle damage) and there is no development being done on GT 5 until 2009, possibly 2010.

Tekken 6 is the next installment in Namco Bandai's popular 3D fighting series, coming exclusively to the PS3. While Tekken 6 was a no show at E3, in a recent interview with GameEX Magazine, Haruki Suzaki revealed that the game is currently scheduled for Dec. 2008, and when asked if it was still a PS3 exclusive, Suzaki replied "No, It hasn't been determined yet as of the moment."
