While Ubisoft is working on its cel-shaded Prince of Persia Prodigy, CEO Yves Guillemot revealed that it is also developing a game based on the upcoming Disney movie (starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Gemma Artertonas) which in turn is based on PoP: Sands of Time. The first in a trilogy of movies written by Prince of Persia creator Jordan Mechner and directed by Jerry Bruckheimer, two more actors have signed on, Alfred Molina (Spider-Man's Dr. Octopus) and Sir Ben Kingsley.

Ninja Gaiden II developer Tomonobu Itagaki, also know for the Dead or Alive series, has decided to leave Tecmo and pursue other opportunities.
