Times Online is reporting that rally racing legend Colin McRae, 39, star of Codemasters' racing franchise, has died in a helicopter crash today, together with his 5-year-old son Johnny, another adult and another child. According to a police statement, the crash occurred around 1610 BST on Saturday, Sept. 15, 2007, in Jerviswood, east of Lanark. McRae's agent confirmed that McRae had been piloting the helicopter himself. According to friends, McRae's wife Alison and their daughter Hollie, 9, were not on board.

To be unveiled at next week's Tokyo Game Show, Yakuza 3 will no longer be set in modern days, but in 1605, during the Edo period. Yakuza 3 will sport 4 fighting styles, hand-to-hand combat, one or two katanas, or wielding a huge sword. It's currently scheduled for a spring 2008 release in Japan.
