Ubi Soft announces "Dragon's Lair 3D" for the Xbox, PC and Mac -- an all-new 3D fantasy adventure game based on the popular game and characters from legendary animator, Don Bluth. Developed by Dragonstone, gamers will be able to fully experience Dragon's Lair with the highest quality graphics and sound that made the arcade version a blockbuster success. Dragon's Lair 3D is scheduled for release on Xbox, PC and Mac in Fall 2002.

Dragon’s Lair 3D is an entirely new, built-from-the-ground-up, three-dimensional version of the highly successful 1980s coin-op phenomenon. While it stays true to the design and storyline of the arcade game, it offers a 3D experience unlike anything else Dragon’s Lair fans have played before.

This new release date will better leverage the visibility and excitement generated by the videogame's release.
