BAM! Entertainment today announced that it has obtained the rights to publish id Software’s Wolfenstein 3D for the Game Boy Advance. Originally developed and released for the PC in 1992, Wolfenstein 3D has become one of the most critically acclaimed and widely recognized gaming franchises ever, including a 1995 induction into Computer Gaming World’s Gaming Hall of Fame. Wolfenstein 3D for the Game Boy Advance is a joint development effort between id Software and Dallas-based studio Stalker Entertainment.

The setting is Tokyo, in the year 2024. Freedom is a valuable commodity and freedom of expression even more so. I grabbed the demo of Mobile Forces earlier today and snapped some screens for all of you to enjoy. Mobile Forces is a First Person Shooter being developed by Rage, using the unreal engine. I must admit, driving that buggy or humvee was REAL great .. with one of your team mates in the back (much like HALO) giving you cover fire was pretty damn cool! THQ Inc. today announced Power Rangers Wild Force for Game Boy Advance. The Power Rangers TV show celebrates its 10th anniversary in 2002 with the release of its new series, “Power Rangers Wild Force.” The show airs Fridays at 8:00 AM ET/PT on ABC Family. THQ’s Game Boy Advance title based on “Power Rangers Wild Force” from BVS, formerly Saban, will mark the third installment of Power Rangers for the Nintendo handheld systems since 2000. In development by Natsume, Power Rangers Wild Force is scheduled to launch in summer 2002.

THQ Inc. today announced interactive publishing rights to Hey Arnold! The Movie, Nickelodeon's first animated feature film based on their hit show. Hey Arnold! The Movie for Game Boy Advance is scheduled for release concurrent with the movie in June 2002.

Entertainment software publisher NovaLogic, Ltd. today announced a co-development partnership with Zombie Studios on the next Delta Force release for the PC. Delta Force: Task Force Dagger is scheduled for a June 2002 launch and is the fourth game in the successful Delta Force franchise that has sold over 3 million units worldwide to date.

Microsoft Corp. today announced that six world-class design studios plan to create exclusive games for the Xbox video game system, all of which will be published under the Microsoft label. The game companies, which join 18 other studios that are creating first-party games for Microsoft, are Blitz Games Ltd., Curly Monsters Ltd., Double Fine Productions Inc., Radical Entertainment Inc., Vision Scape Interactive Inc. and Yeti Interactive. These alliances further demonstrate the game community's confidence in Xbox and in Microsoft's commitment to becoming a leading video game publisher.

THQ Inc. today announced Scooby-Doo based on the upcoming motion picture for Game Boy Advance.
