The new v2.0 of the Raven Shield Community Map Pack has been released! This pack includes 22 of the best new maps for Raven Shield, including 10 new ones! Also, several of the best maps from the previous version of the map pack have been updated: bugs fixed, insertions tweaked, performance optimized, and new single player & co-op modes added! But a few desperate remnants of the organization remain - and Team RAINBOW won't rest until terror has been vanquished and the world is safe. Not many details known yet, but at least we got the 6 first screens!

IGN's rumor mill is running again as their UbiSoft E3 lineup seems to have an addition that is missing from everybody else's list (or the official list sent out by UbiSoft for that matter).
IGN's Ubi Soft E3 list includes the following on what seems to be a new add-on for the tactical shooter: "Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six 3 Athena Sword: Looks like the PC is getting a new expansion for the latest in the series. Fun all around!". After Worthplaying contacted UbiSoft, they said "We don't have anything additional to announce about R63 PC at this point", which doesn't mean its not true though.

UbiSoft just send us word that next week we can expect a new patch for Rainbow 6 Ravenshield. This patch is released mostly to respond to problems some people have encountered with the CD Key system. The problem can occur when players have more than one network interface and the first one isn't their Internet connection. UbiSoft are now checking to see if the network interface used by Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six 3: Raven Shield is the one connected to the Internet. To know exactly where the error was coming from, they have added some other error messages. Read more for an error list list and their cause.

Rainbow Six: Raven Shield features a brand new Tom Clancy storyline in which Team RAINBOW is led all over the world in a string of dramatic operations. The game will utilize graphics technology provided by the next-generation Unreal engine to power 15 new single-player missions that include the discovery of a cache of biological weapons and stopping an armed gang from terrorizing a London bank. Today we have another trailer showing off Team RAINBOW moving through a tropical villa and encountering a number of hostiles.!

Ubi Soft announced today that the third installment of its best-selling Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Series, Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six 3: Raven Shield is available this week at retail outlets across the U.S. The game was developed by Ubi Soft's Montreal studio, most recently renowned for creating Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell. Noticed on VE3D that Ubisoft will be releasing a single player demo for Rainbow Six 3: Raven Shield next week. Here's what it will contain:
- 16 weapons are available (M12, Mac11/9, MP5A4, MP5K PDW, MP5SD5, P90, Uzi, AK-47, M1 shotgun, Dragunov, PSG-1, RPD, 92FS, AP ARMY and USP) and all of them can be equipped with weapon gadgets (Mini-Scope, High Capacity Magazine, Sound Suppressor or Thermal scope)
- Single Player featuring the Oil Refinery mission.
- Playable in all 4 Custom Mission modes (Practice, Terrorist Hunt, Lone Wolf and Hostage Rescue) with three levels of difficulty for each.

We want to assure you that the development team will do everything we can to prevent cheating. There is nothing more frustrating, in online gaming, than cheats.
