In 2006, MumboJumbo and Seattle-based PopCap Games reached an agreement whereby MumboJumbo would produce, distribute and sell certain PopCap games in North America. A jury in the 193rd Civil District Court in Dallas County, Texas, agreed that PopCap breached the contract when it decided to market and sell its games on its own.

Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising sees the most realistic modeling of conflict scenarios in a new contemporary theater of war. By offering a multitude of military disciplines, gameplay will deliver warfare more realistic and intense than ever before, while an extensive multiplayer component will create battles on an incredible scale. According to rumors Codemasters' Operation Flashpoint is working on a new FPS, maybe a sequel to Dragon Rising, due for release on PS3/X360/PC in 2010.

Yesterday was a bit of a letdown. Our trip to the Chabot Space & Science Center was a little disappointing since it was mainly an outing for parents to take their kids and learn about space/evolution. The place was filled with screaming and running 8-year-olds, and while that in itself wouldn't have been any issue, the telescope was not operational due to overcast weather, so we did not get to see much apart from a 45-minute IMAX movie about dinosaurs. Yawn. The center itself is located on a hill, which gave us an amazing view of the area, so that kind of made up for it.

We did manage to get our DVR replaced, so hopefully the skipping and crashing will be a thing of the past. Too bad there were still a few shows on the old one that we hadn't watched yet.

Nippon Ichi Software and HitMaker's Last Rebellion is an RPG with action elements where players can roam around the world field and make action movements like in an action game, but once you enter battle you engage the enemy using a turn-based system.

Risk: Factions will offer innovative ways of experiencing the timeless turn-based board game in both objective-based and world conquest modes. Players will be able to engage as one of five playable factions, each with different strengths, as they wage war on new maps with dynamic terrain in their quest for missile silos in order to strategically dominate the game.

Seed Studios' real time strategy game Under Siege features an original world, unique gameplay elements and a large number of multiplayer and community features with special emphasis on user generated content. Seed Studios revealed that it will include Motion Controller support, but now that SCEA delayed the launch to fall 2010, it re-confirmed that the game will launch as originally announced, and issue a patch when the controller is released.
