Activision announced new strategic plans for the Call of Duty franchise, and
confirmed earlier rumors that both Jason West and Vince Zampella are no longer with Infinity Ward. Activision also revealed that it will bring the franchise to Asia, and that Sledgehammer Games is working on a Call of Duty action-adventure game.

last year it was revealed that Avalanche was working on an all-new game AionGuard, described as a mix of WWI dogfighter pilots, Samurai and medieval knights, where you control armies of thousands, and pilot-able dragons as you wage war against the Nazurbaal, who are harvesting the world's magical powers. In a recent interview CEO Christofer Sundberg revealed that
the game has been shelved after several years of development, and further states
