While it was already revealed a week or 2 ago, Atari has announced plans to develop "Dragonshard" a real-time strategy game based on the Dungeons & Dragons universe created by Wizards of the Coast. "Dragonshard" will be the first game set in the exciting new D&D campaign setting, Eberron, a cinematic and war-torn world of action, adventure and intrigue where fantasy meets magical technology.

IGN brings us the news that Liquid Entertainment's unnamed D&D RTS title,
announced a while ago, has finally gotten an official name, Dragonshard Wars. Here's the snip : "In case the suspense has been killing you, the official title for the fantasy strat is Dragonshard Wars, and like its Forgotten Realms console brother, Demon Stone, seems to have lost its inspirational D&D branding to help popularize it with the mainstream crowd."

The five mighty dragons of Dragon Empires, the forthcoming player-driven fantasy MMORPG epic for PC, are not the only inhabitants whose past and destiny will form an integral part of Fortitude, the game's world. Two young women, both intrinsically linked to the empire dragons, will be influential forces within Fortitude: they are the mysterious and enchanting Kite and Mooneye, known collectively as the Twins.

The action-RTS PC game entitled King Arthur: Pendragon Cronicles takes us back to the heroic epic of the founder King Arthur, whose figure is lost in the mist of time. The choice of topic was inspired by the King Arthur film produced by Jerry Buckheimer coming out soon. The game is created in European cooperation (using GarageGames' Torque Engine), the game design is provided by Game Consulting, while the artistic and programming part is done by a group of professionals of veteran developers of Spore Games. Konami announced today that it has signed a worldwide video game agreement with Alliance Atlantis Communication Inc. for Alliance Atlantis' new children's animated property, Dragon Booster. Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. will develop, manufacture and distribute the game based on the highly anticipated animated series that is expected to debut in the US on Jetix (ABC Family and Toon Disney's branded block) Saturday, October 23, 2004 and on CBC in Canada on Tuesday, October 26, 2004, before rolling out around the world in early 2005.

Dragon Ball Z: Supersonic Warriors(tm) will launch one week earlier than anticipated due to quick approval by Nintendo of America as a result of the game's high-quality development. The game will be shipped to retailers nationwide on Tuesday, June 22nd, 2004, with some stores having it that day or the next. Most stores should have the product on-shelf by June 29.
