Sony has rolled out new PlayStation Store content, starting with PixelJunk Monsters ($7.99 for a limited time), a free Folklore addon (winner of the Create-a-Creature contest), three Oasis songs for Rock Band ($1.99/song, $5.49/pack), Stranglehold map mack (10 multiplayer maps, 21 skins, $14.99). In addition to the Devil May Cry 4 and The Club demos there is also the PSOne classic Jet Moto 2 for PS3/PSP. Sony has rolled out new PlayStation Store content, starting with a few Playstation Eye titles (Tori-Emaki & Mesmerize: Trace for $1.99) and a Blast Factor Bundle ($12.99). The weekly Rock Band tracks are now also available (Last Train to Clarksville / The Monkees, All the Small Things / Blink-182, and Action / Sweet for $1.99) as well as two new circuits for MotorStorm (Eagle’s Nest and Diamondback Speedway, $2.99). Also available are playable demos for Disney;s Turok and EA's FIFA Street 3, if all else fails, there's plenty of trailers, and movie clips to watch.

After closing up shop for the holidays, Sony has rolled out some new PlayStation Store content. PS3 owners can catch up on new downloadable songs for Rock Band (6 tracks) and Guitar Hero (8 tracks), as well as unlockable vehicles in Need for Speed ProStreet. There is also a 990mb demo for EA Sports' upcoming NFL Tour and a Japanese launch trailer for Gran Turismo 5 Prologue.

Sony is ending the year with a bang by rolling out a huge PlayStation Store update. Just like on XBL, EA has released new Rock Band tracks, a free We Three Kings Guitar Hero track, and PS3-exclusive content with Warhawk Omega Dawn Booster Pack ($7.99), Folklore Holiday Add-On (free), MotorStorm Holiday Skin (free) and 2 High Stakes: Poker Edition Add-Ons (free). On top of that, there are 4 new downloadable games: Toy Home ($9.99), Snakeball (free demo, $9.99 full game), Trials of Topoq ($4.99) and Mesmerize: Distort ($1.99). There is also a demo for Midway's Blacksite: Area 51 and the usual slew of game and movie trailers.

Director of PlayStation Network Operations Eric Lempel revealed that, at the request of the PS3 community, Sony is working on issueing PlayStation Network Cards, and should start appearing at retailers in early ‘08. The cards will be redeemable via the PlayStation Store for PC, and on the PS3 to supply the wallet with funds to spend on games, add-ons, and other paid content.

Just like on XBL, EA has released the Burnout Paradise demo, and the latest Rock Band Punk song pack ($5.49 or $1.99/song). After its debut last week, High Velocity Bowling gets 2 new bowling characters ($0.99/each), and Need for Speed ProStreet gets several cars ($2.49/$4.99) otherwise unlockable as you progress through the career mode. Just like on XBL, THQ has released a demo for MX vs. ATV Untamed, while Harmonix released launch day content for Rock Band (singles & track packs). There were also price reductions ($4.99 instead of $9.99) for several PSN titles, such as Calling All Cars, Everyday Shooter, fl0w and PixelJunk Racers. SCEA has released several playable demos for upcoming games on the PlayStation Network, EA's NFS ProStreet (906mb) and Sierra's sci-fi shooter TimeShift (479mb). The classic PsOne title Twisted Metal 2 is now playable on PSP/PS3, and there's a slow of downloladable content for The Godfather: Don’s Edition. Game trailer wise there is a ton of stuff to watch like Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, Burnout, Beowulf, GT5 Prologue, and a few movie trailers as well.
