Sony has rolled out new PlayStation Store content starting with Capcom's classic remake Bionic Commando: Rearmed ($9.99), PSone classic Street Fighter Alpha for PSP/PS3, Roadrunner Records Pack 1 ($5.99) for Rockband, and demos for 1942: Joint Strike, Bionic Commando: Rearmed, NHL 2K9 and Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2008.

Ubisoft announced that Driver, Ubisoft Reflections' 1999 racing game, will be coming to the PlayStation Network on Aug. 14th for €4.99. Driver puts you in the driving shoes of Tanner, an undercover cop tasked with infiltrating an illegal syndicate through his impressive driving skills in a variety of cities across the globe.

Sony has rolled out new PlayStation Store content starting with issue #3 of its Qore magazine, addon/DLC for NASCAR 09 (2.49) and Snakeball ($1.99), GH III Interscope track pack ($6.25), System of A Down ($1.99) and Cruefest #2 ($2.99) tracks for Rock Band. More importantly the Home Theme that will allow you to join the beta, and the usual trailers, themes, and wallpapers.

Sony has rolled out new PlayStation Store content starting with the organic platformer PixelJunk Eden ($9.99), Soul Calibur IV: Customization Equipment 1 ($1.49), four new Rock Band tracks ($1.99 for Staind's This is It, Scars on Broadway's They Say, and Testament's Electric Crown, while thenewno2's Yomp goes for $0.99). Plenty of material to try out with demos for LEGO Indiana Jones, Facebreaker, and Madden 09. There are of course also the usual game/movie trailers, PS3 themes and wallpapers.

On June 5, 2008 SCEA will introduce Qore: Presented by PlayStation Network, a monthly original program that features exclusive multimedia news, developer interviews, in-depth game previews and behind-the-scene looks at the latest PlayStation games. Subscribers will also have special access to game demos, betas, add-ons and other downloadable and game-related content.

The Home service will allow you to create your own avatar and explore a real-time virtual community, as if you are playing a detailed 3D game. The new PlayStation Media & Events Space is a virtual arena that will serve as the live entertainment hub of the PS3 online community, hosting everything from new game unveilings to sports events and fashion shows.

Sony has rolled out new PlayStation Store content, starting with the release of Capcom's Rocketmen: Axis of Evil ($9.99), 'Encore' addon for PixelJunk Monsters ($5.99), Guitar Hero III: Muse Track Pack ($6.25), Rock Band Scene Pack ($1.99/$5.49). Also available are a demos for Ubisoft's Haze (single-player/4 player co-op), Codemasters' racer GRID and Vivendi's The Bourne Conspiracy Demo. Haze puts you in the boots of a new recruit in the privately run Mantel army. Your conflict begins in a war-torn country where you have been sent to fight a vicious rebel faction, the Promise Hand. Earlier this week European gamers had the pleasure to check out the 4 Player Co-op / Campaign demo, which is now also available on the North American PSN.

Sony has rolled out new PlayStation Store content, starting with the release of its PS3/PSP puzzle game echochrome ($9.99), Smashing Pumpkins and The Mother Hips tracks for Rock Band ($1.99/each), and more Karaoke Revolution Presents: American Idol Encore downloadable songs ($1.99/each). Also available are a new demo for Digital Extremes' Dark Sector, the usual slew of new game/movie trailers, and wallpaper/themes.

Fatal Inertia mixes street racing, demolition derbies and rallying with a futuristic setting where machines no longer need wheels and the laws of physics govern all. Last year's X360 version launched with underwhelming success, so KOEI has further optimized the game, added new features, and plans to release it on as a download on Playstation Network late May for $29.99.

Sony, still playing catchup after the recent Playstation Store revamp, rolled out a new update with the Eye of Judgment Card Expansion Set 2 ($14.99), Call of Duty 4 Variety Map Pack ($9.99), Army of Two SSC Challenge Map Pack ($7.49). Rock Band gets Judas Priest's Screaming for Vengeance album and Motley Crue's Saints of Los Angeles, Guitar Hero III gets the Def Leppard track pack ($6.25), while Karaoke Revolution Presents: American Idol Encore gets downloadable songs for $1.49 each. There are demos for Iron Man and echochrome, as well as the usual slew of game/movie trailers and PS3 themes.

Now that the Playstation Store has been revamped, Sony is rolled out content anew after a two-week hiatus, starting with Gran Turismo 5 Prologue ($39.99), Warhawk Broken Mirror Pack ($7.99), catching up on over a dozen Rock Band songs, Super Stardust HD Solo ($4.99), Lair - Dragons and Control Pack (2 new dragons and controls patch), a UEFA EURO 2008 demo, and the usual slew of game videos, movies trailers and PS3 Themes.

Sony announced that it will revamp the PlayStation Store for PS3 in mid-April with a new, more dynamic look and improved navigation, as a result there will be no PSN updates until after the transformation is complete.

Atlus' R-Type Command is a deviation from the usual shoot 'em up genre into the tactical/RPG genre, giving fans of the franchise a chance to see all the units and enemies up close and personal, in 3D, while also adding 2 player versus mode.
