Activision's latest financial numbers show a net revenue increase of 69% from last year's $188.2 million to $317.7M. Net income jumped from a $42.6M loss to a $28.5M gain. In the conference call, Activision executives said that while it's only been in stores for a week, GH III is the best launch title in company history, selling $100M in North America alone. Looking ahead, Activision is planning new titles in the Call of Duty, Tony Hawk and Guitar Hero franchises and has plans for new titles in cooperation with Dreamworks (Monsters Vs. Aliens, Madagascar II, Kung Fu Panda,) two unannounced superhero titles and, to top it all off, its first James Bond-licensed title.

Devil May Cry 4 is the fourth installment in Capcom's series starring Dante, the gunslinging demon hunter. DMC4 will introduce a new hero, Nero, who possesses a demonic arm that can pull in enemies or use them as projectiles. The Collector's Edition package includes volume 1 of ADV Films' Devil May Cry: The Animated Series, a Steelbook case and a bonus DVD filled with extras.

Bowser has captured Mario and his friends in his pursuit of a crystal that the group collected when it fell from the sky, and he doesn't hesitate to shrink them to miniature size to get rid of them and get his hands on the other four crystals. The mini-heroes have to find the crystals before he does, making their way through giant environments filled with enormous creatures.

SCEA has released several playable demos for upcoming games on the PlayStation Network, EA's NFS ProStreet (906mb) and Sierra's sci-fi shooter TimeShift (479mb). The classic PsOne title Twisted Metal 2 is now playable on PSP/PS3, and there's a slow of downloladable content for The Godfather: Don’s Edition. Game trailer wise there is a ton of stuff to watch like Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, Burnout, Beowulf, GT5 Prologue, and a few movie trailers as well.
