An expansion to Warhammer: Mark of Chaos for the PC, Warhammer: Mark of Chaos - Battle March builds upon the game's tactical foundation to offer new units for each army as well as an original campaign and new online modes. The Xbox 360 version, a standalone game that also include the original content from Warhammer: Mark of Chaos, is scheduled for later this year.

Back in 2006 Texas based Anascape Ltd. filed suit against Nintendo and Microsoft for infringing on one of its patents (3D controller with vibration) it had filed in 2000. While Microsoft immediately settled out of court, Nintendo decided to go all the way and fight the lawsuit. Now Federal court has ruled in favor of Anascape and awarded it a settlement of $21 million. Nintendo plans to file an appeal in order to reduce the penalty.

Back in late 2003 Ubisoft released its action/adventure Beyond Good & Evil to much critical acclaim but unfortunately that did not translate into sales numbers and the franchise was abandoned. In an
interview with French magazine JeuxVideo, Rayman's Michel Ancel revealed that we can expect to see Jade again, as BG&E 2 has been in pre-production for over a year, even though Ubisoft has not given its final approval yet.

A recent SEC filing reveals that Electronic Arts has arranged an agreement with Morgan Stanley, BNP Paribas, The Bank of Nova Scotia and KeyBank National Association for a whopping $1 billion in case it needs the funds to acquire Grand Theft Auto publisher Take-Two. EA initially made a $2 billion offer, which Take Two turned down, so these funds may be used to raise the offer now that GTA's $500 million first-week revenue has surely increased the company's overall value. The multibank agreement gives EA access to the funds until Jan. 9, 2009.
