Atlus' Operation Darkness is an epic fantasy WWII turn-based strategy game from Metal Saga developers Success. Set during WW2 you are part of an special ops team tasked with tracking down Hitler, featuring multiple scenarios, mixing historical events with fiction.

From 21 to 24 August 2008, the Leipzig Exhibition Centre hosts the 7th Games Convention. With considerably more than 500 exhibitors (2007: 503 exhibitors), the fair organizers expect another record. Interest is particularly strong among international game publishers and developers.

An expansion to Warhammer: Mark of Chaos for the PC, Warhammer: Mark of Chaos - Battle March builds upon the game's tactical foundation to offer new units for each army as well as an original campaign and new online modes. The Xbox 360 version, a standalone game that also include the original content from Warhammer: Mark of Chaos, is scheduled for later this year.

High-end flight simulation developer Shockwave Productions has rebranded its corporate name to Air to Air Simulations in order to avoid any further confusion with online gaming website Shockwave.

Back in 2006 Texas based Anascape Ltd. filed suit against Nintendo and Microsoft for infringing on one of its patents (3D controller with vibration) it had filed in 2000. While Microsoft immediately settled out of court, Nintendo decided to go all the way and fight the lawsuit. Now Federal court has ruled in favor of Anascape and awarded it a settlement of $21 million. Nintendo plans to file an appeal in order to reduce the penalty.

Back in late 2003 Ubisoft released its action/adventure Beyond Good & Evil to much critical acclaim but unfortunately that did not translate into sales numbers and the franchise was abandoned. In an interview with French magazine JeuxVideo, Rayman's Michel Ancel revealed that we can expect to see Jade again, as BG&E 2 has been in pre-production for over a year, even though Ubisoft has not given its final approval yet.
