Ubisoft announced that the remake of BlueByte's construction-based strategy game Settlers 2, making the jump to 3D, has been completed and has reached gold status. Destineer announced today that it has chosen Raleigh, North Carolina as the location where it will open its next development studio, with at least 100 engineers, artists, designers, QA staff, and management. Ubisoft announced that it has completed the previously announced acquisition of the IP and technology rights to the Driver franchise, as well as most of the assets and all of the personnel of Reflections Interactive.
