Ubisoft announced its next submarine simulation, Silent Hunter III, for PC launching late 2004. The next title in the Silent Hunter franchise will add new dimensions to the simulation experience. The player will engage in a compelling ocean environment, featuring dynamic weather, and experience the intensity of historical naval warfare. Konami of America, Inc. today announced that its hit psychological horror videogame series, Silent Hill, will be released worldwide as a major motion picture. Production company Davis Films will produce the feature film adaptation of Konami's popular franchise. Produced by Konami Computer Entertainment Tokyo, Inc. Konami of America has announced that Silent Hill 3 for the PlayStation 2 has been shipped to stores in North America. The game will include a bonus soundtrack CD featuring music from the game. In Silent Hill 3, players must guide Heather Morris through a series of eerie environments that are overrun with dozens of nasty creatures ranging from split-headed zombie dogs to horribly mutated humanoids.
