Konami today announced that its PS2 exclusive Dance Dance Revolution EXTREME 2 game has shipped to retail stores nationwide. The latest DDR installment not only includes the innovative EyeToy USB Camera support found in the original DDR EXTREME but also features an all-new soundtrack as well as an online component that lets players connect and compete head-to-head for the first time.

World Championship Poker 2 features a much more detailed one player game, where you now have to work your way up the ranks, starting in your mom's basement. Rockstar Games is pleased to announce Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas Special Edition for the PS2, which will include on DVD The Introduction and Rockstar's debut documentary film, Sunday Driver.

In celebration of Need of Speed's 10th year anniversary, EA announced today that it will be shipping a Need for Speed Most Wanted collector’s edition in November for PS2, Xbox and PC, in conjunction with the launch of the game for all platforms. Need for Speed Most Wanted Black Edition, will feature exclusive cars, races and specially-tuned rides, as well as a bonus DVD with behind the scenes footage of model/actress, Josie Maran, concept art, exclusive videos and much more. It was also confirmed that the Xbox 360 version of the game will ship as a launch title.

German online magazine GameRadio.de has composed quite an impressive movie about "the spirit of games convention." With this movie, supported by publishers and video-experts, they want to transport the feeling of Europe's biggest videogame-fair, the Games Convention in Leipzig. It´s an exceptional movie with a professional (licensed) soundtrack, impressions of the games and an interview with the manager of that fair. It has a slight german comment, but the information is transported by music and pictures.

For the first time in the seven-year history of the game, Pump It Up players from across the United States will be gathering in Concord, North Carolina for the first annual National Pump It Up Competition. Sponsored by Andamiro, Mastiff, and Jillian's, this event will decide who goes on to represent the U.S. in the World Pump Festival later this year in Seoul, Korea, where players will compete for over $30,000 in cash prizes.
