Last week Atari revealed that due to its poor financial state it might have to sell off most of its in-house development studios. As a result, Shiny Ent.'s founder David Perry resigned in order to spend more time trying to raise interest by potential buyers, start a bidding war and then rejoin the company. Perry explains the somewhat odd move due to him being on various boards and that he did not want to step on anybody's toes inside Atari, and he claims to have various interested parties already.
