East Front is a high-tech first-person 3D shooter. The action takes place in an alternate universe where the fascist Germany won in the Second World War. A soldier of the German Resistance, Karl Stolz, turns out to be involved in the deadly play of mysterious powers, and at stake is control over the entire world.

It seems developer Best Way is not only working on a sequel to Outfront, known in Europe & US as Soldiers: Heroes of World War II, but is currently also working on an expansion called "Saboteurs." The addon will allow you to head up a group of 6 Soviet saboteurs and carry out a number complex tasks behind enemy lines, such as capture German officers, destroy enemy radars, or take over strategic locations such as railway stations.

EA has released the highly anticipated first patch for DICE's Battlefield 2. This patch brings your retail game to v1.02 (eventhough it still says v1.01) and addresses the previous memory leak, an issue that caused the multiplayer browser to become unresponsive, some game controls were not available to be rebound within the Options menu, fixed a crash with rebinding LMB, AI becoming unresponsive, and a few graphical tweaks. THQ announced that it has engaged United Talent Agency to expand the brand of THQ's recently-released, top-selling Destroy All Humans! video game title. UTA aims to guide the Destroy All Humans! property through its development into major motion picture and television projects, overseeing activities related to development, financing, production and distribution.

Sony Europe announced today a host of new features and games for SpyToy on PS2. Due for release in October 2005, SpyToy is more than just a game, it is a state of the art security system. It builds on the surveillance concept first introduced in 'EyeToy: Play 2' with a package of new and improved security features, whilst the gameplay sees you become a member of the SIA, tasked with bringing to justice a global network of master criminals.

Blizzard has released yet another new Warcraft III map, this time called "Dust Storm"... While Battlefield 2 is currently being plagued by user login issues, GameSpy are being investigating the matter, but as a result external stats tracking may be temporarily disabled. EA has also announced that a HOTFIX candidate for Battlefield 2 v1.01 is currently in testing, which the fix for the memory leak found in v1.01 is being tested and will soon be available. THQ today announced an agreement with studio Team17 to publish Worms on the PSP and Nintendo DS. Retaining the same gameplay and unique sense of humour that has epitomised the brand for almost a decade, Worms brings a whole raft of new features and laugh-out-loud comedy to the handhelds.

Take-Two, licensed by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, announced today that Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is now available in retail stores across North America for the PS2, Xbox, GBA and PC, with the GameCube version available next week. The game features key talent from the Warner Bros. Pictures film being released in theaters on July 15th.
