Blizzard today announced that World of Warcraft has become an overnight success in Europe, achieving record-breaking sales in its first 24 hours since the game launched on Friday, 11th February. World of Warcraft has sold-through an estimated 280,000 copies at retail on day-one, this figure rose to more than 380,000 units being sold-through by the end of the first weekend.

Stalingrad is a real-time strategy based on the modified Blitzkrieg engine. The game tells a story of one of the most dramatic periods of World War II and covers all major events from June 1942 till January 1943. The game consists out of two campaigns. A few weeks back it was already hinted at during THQ's latest financial results conference that a expansion pack for Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War would be coming up, and today GameSpot has a few additional details to back that up. Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War - Winter Assault is scheduled for fall of 2005 and will include an all-new playable fifth race, the Imperial Guard.
