Disney Plans To Release 10 Movies For PSP

Having just released Pirates of the Caribbean and Kill Bill Vol. 1, Disney revealed it plans to release an additional 10 movies over the next 3 months. First up are National Treasure, Reign Of Fire and Hero, followed by titles such as Tron, King Arthur, Hostage and Cursed. end of the summer you can expect Kill Bill Vol. 2, Gone in 60 Seconds: The Director's Cut, From Dusk Till Dawn and Armageddon. Disney is currently the only other company besdies Sony to release movies on UMD, but talks with Fox and Lions Gate are underway. Read more details over at Variety.

Finding Neverland Actress To Star In 'Silent Hill' Movie

Hollywood Reporter reveals that Actress Radha Mitchell will topline the film adaptation of the video game "Silent Hill. Principal photography is due to begin Monday in Toronto on the suspense horror feature and will run through July 22. TriStar Pictures' movie, directed by French filmmaker Christophe Gans ("Brotherhood of the Wolf") and scheduled for 2007, is budgeted at $45 million-$50 million, with additional casting not yet final. Silent Hill is being co-produced by Resident Evil's Hadida, who will also be doing a film adaptation of Capcom's Onimusha (thanks VE3D).

'Dragon Ball Z Sparking!' (PS2) Coming To Europe And North America

A few weeks ago, Bandai revealed the next title in the Dragon Ball Z franchise, Dragon Ball Z Sparking! Developed by Spike, the action game will be in full 3D and feature over 40 characters, including Sangoku, Vegeta and Janemba. Combat will take place in the air, on the ground, and have an over-the-shoulder perspective. After only confirming a fall 2005 release date in Japan, Bandai now also revealed that Sparking will be released in North America & Europe. GameStop has a DBZ game listed for November 15 release, although the full title isn't specified.

"We're pleased to confirm that Bohemia Interactive will be at this year's E3. Marek Spanel and myself will be in attendance at room 6941 of Kentia hall where we intend to announce our release plans for 2005 and beyond.
