Bestway group Acquires Play Ten Interactive

Bestway group, a privately held group that was formed in May 2008 in the merger of Russobit-M and Game Factory Interactive, has acquired Russian publisher/developer Play Ten Interactive. Game Factory Interactive will take over Play Ten's titles (White Gold: War in paradise, Battle of Atlantis, Precursors, The Wall) which in part will henceforth target online games licensing.

Set in a modern day survival-horror universe, the co-operative gameplay of Left 4 Dead casts four "Survivors" in an epic struggle against hordes of swarming zombies and terrifying "Boss Infected" mutants. At a preview event last night, Valve revealed that a 2 mission L4D demo (also on XBL) will be released a few weeks ahead of the game's late Nov. launch. Combining 3D animation and 2D designs, A Vampyre Story follows the opera starlet, Mona, a woman kidnapped by Baron Shrowdy Von Kiefer and slowly becoming a creature of the night after coming under the vampire's spell. Originally scheduled to coincide with the October Halloween celebration, Vampyre Story has been pushed back until Nov. 2008.
