Primary Task: Writing dialogue. Scripting dialogue. Must be able to write interesting dialogue in a timely fashion.

Capcom has announced a new title for PS2, Chaos Legion. The game is based on the serial of the same name which runs in the popular Japanese fantasy anthology Dragon Magazine. Though it has the look of a 3D action title, producer Yoshinori Ono describes it as a "fantasy opera," with some RPG elements, different in style from the Resident Evil, Onimusha, or Devil May Cry series. These versions will be playable through new EverQuest servers located in Europe. The European version of EverQuest will be available in English, French and German languages from November 21.

The new game, Serious Sam 2, ironically now possibly referred to either factually or mistakenly by reps as Serious Sam 3, is apparently far into development and scheduled to hit in 2003, completely compatible with the Xbox's own Live multiplayer setup. Even fewer details are known of the PC version, but assumedly it is in concurrent development, since musings of that one have been around since well before the Second Encounter even hit.

Electronic Arts today announced the release of The Sims Deluxe Edition, the definitive version of the top-selling PC game of all time, The Sims. The Sims Deluxe Edition combines the full version of The Sims, the best-selling Sims expansion pack The Sims Livin' Large, and exclusive new content including the all-new Sim customization tool: The Sims Creator. The Sims Deluxe Edition combines the full version The Sims with the first in the series of Sims expansion packs, The Sims Livin' Large. The Sims Livin' Large allows players to put their Sim families into zany situations and settings. Its content adds dozens of extreme items like a home chemistry lab, a heart shaped bed and a crystal ball as well a cast of wild characters like the Grim Reaper, the Genie and the Tragic Clown to the lives of The Sims.

ARXEL TRIBE announces today that THE GLADIATORS is nearing completion with a whole set of new features since they last presented the game at ECTS: full implementation of the multiplayer functions (LAN and Internet), new maps, full integration of pre-rendered and RT animations and final level design treatment of the maps, and a lot more... Universal Interactive, Inc. announced that its video game based on Universal Pictures' blockbuster feature film The Scorpion King, which stars World Wrestling Entertainment Superstar The Rock, has shipped to retailers nationwide. The Scorpion King: Rise of the Akkadian is available for the PlayStation2 and Nintendo GameCube and will be available in stores simultaneously with the home video/DVD release of The Scorpion King film.
