The latest issue of Famitsu reveals that TECMO is bringing is Ninja Gaiden series to the PS3. Absent during the Microsoft conference earlier, Ninja Gaiden Sigma will make its debut at the Sony happening on the 22nd, but it is said that the new game ought to be playable on the showfloor, with an improved combat system, updated graphics, new weapons, and the ability to wield dual katanas. EA has released the first patch for the Xbox 360 version of Battle For Middle-Earth 2. The v1.01 patch is available through Xbox Live, and addresses a few technical issues, the most notable being the multiplayer issue regarding users disconnecting during multiplayer matches and not receiving a loss for foul play.

In a recent financial statement JoWooD Productions' CEO Albert Seidl revealed that an expansion pack for the just gone gold RPG Gothic III is already being worked on, "We are already looking forward to the company’s results of the third and fourth quarter of 2006.
