Ubi Soft, in partnership with DC Comics, Warner Home Video, and GamePro Magazine have announced a joint promotion in support of Batman: Rise of Sin Tzu, the first video game to introduce a new character into the Batman universe. The promotion will include, the "Batman: Rise of Sin Tzu - Art Attack! Contest" sponsored by Ubi Soft, which will run from now through October 31. Entrants submitting their best drawings of Batman will be judged by legendary comic book artist and Sin Tzu's co-creator, Jim Lee.

Bethesda Softworks, Disney Interactive, and Ubi Soft Entertainment today announced that Ubi Soft Entertainment will publish Pirates of the Caribbean for the Xbox and PC throughout Europe. Inspired by one of this summer’s most anticipated blockbusters, the game will bring swashbuckling adventures and rich worlds to Xbox and PC this June. Ubi Soft today announced that it will be the European publisher for the highly-anticipated massively multiplayer online role-playing game EverQuest II and the recently announced Lords of EverQuest real-time strategy (RTS) game from Sony Online Entertainment Inc. (SOE). EverQuest II and Lords of Everquest are currently set for a worldwide release in Winter 2003/04.

Discreet, a division of Autodesk, Inc. announced today that Ubi Soft Entertainment has joined the growing number of leading development studios to adopt and standardize their animation, modeling and rendering tools based on Discreet's 3D technology solutions. Ubi Soft has agreed to upgrade existing licenses as part of its game development program to utilize Discreet 3ds max software throughout its European development studios, which encompasses over 200 animation software licenses. The agreement between Ubi Soft and Discreet represents the biggest European 3D software partnership to date, and follows the recent decision from Ubi Soft Canada to also purchase licenses for its Montreal-based development studio.

Ubi Soft today announced plans for two exciting games based on the classic Disney movie, The Jungle Book. First released in 1967, The Jungle Book remains one of Disney's most popular animated features captivating three generations of moviegoers. Now, for the first time in 36 years, Disney is bringing Mowgli and his friends back to the big screen in The Jungle Book 2.
