Ubi Soft Entertainment today announced a pre-order program for Catz 5 and Dogz 5, the newest editions of its best-selling Petz family. Petz fans can now pre-order both titles through Ubi.com or Amazon.com reserving their copies for when the games hit North American retail shelves in mid-November. Additionally, Ubi Soft announced that anyone purchasing any two Petz 5 titles (two copies of Catz 5 or Dogz 5, or one of each) can also receive a $10 mail-in rebate. Catz 5 and Dogz 5 have an MSRP of $29.99 each.

Ubi Soft Entertainment today announced that it will publish the hugely popular role-playing game Lunar Legend for the Game Boy Advance in North America this fall. Lunar Legend features an epic storyline about a young man thrust into adventure on his quest to become a Dragonmaster and save the world. Lunar Legend has an MSRP of $29.99, and is expected to ship to U.S. retail shelves in November, 2002.

Ubi Soft Entertainment, one of the world’s largest video game publishers, today revealed its plans for the ECTS, one of the industry’s major European event of the year. At booth # 1640, Ubi Soft will be featuring triple A games for the leading platforms of the market. Ubi Soft Entertainment today announced a rebate program for its forthcoming Chessmaster 9000 PC title. Under the program, current Chessmaster owners will receive a $10 rebate when they upgrade to Chessmaster 9000 from any previous version of Chessmaster, starting with Chessmaster 4000. Chessmaster 9000 has an MSRP of $39.99, and will ship to U.S. and Canadian retail shelves on August 27, 2002.

Ubi Soft and ubi.com unveiled the details of a first-ever limited edition Shadowbane pre-order box which will contain a code to unlock three restricted races in the final version of Shadowbane. Shadowbane is the highly-anticipated, fantasy-based massively multiplayer online (MMO) game scheduled for release this November.

Ubi Soft today announced the release of Far Cry, a new first-person-shooter game. With an emphasis on tactics and action with a spectacular use of graphical and environmental details, Far Cry is planned for a worldwide release on PC CD-ROM in late 2003.

Key among the new features in Catz 5 and Dogz 5 will be the ability for Petz owners to import all officially released Dogz and Catz from previous versions into the new title, ensuring that old friends aren't lost when their owners upgrade. Catz 5 and Dogz 5 for the PC are both expected to ship to U.S. and Canadian retail this Fall with an MSRP of $19.99 each.

Ubi Soft's PC game based on Tom Clancy's novel and the upcoming Paramount Pictures' release, The Sum of All Fears, has shipped to U.S. retail stores and will be on store shelves when the movie opens this Friday, May 31, for U.S. audiences. Ubi.com and Ubi Soft, the publishers of Shadowbane, are now accepting additional applications to be a beta tester of Shadowbane, the fantasy-based, massively multiplayer online (MMO) game slated for launch later this year. Ubi Soft today announced a licensing agreement with Eidos for Tomb Raider on Game Boy ® Advance. With the new two-year agreement, Ubi Soft acquires exclusive worldwide development and publishing rights for 'Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Prophecy' for the Game Boy Advance. The game will be released this Christmas.

Ubi Soft Entertainment, one of the world's largest video game publishers, today announced that it has entered into a publishing agreement under which 1C: Maddox Games will develop new content for the multi-award winning WWII combat flight simulation title, IL-2 Sturmovik. IL2-Sturmovik: The Forgotten Battles will include two new maps for Finland and Hungary, expanding the battlefield for both single and multiplayer modes. It will also feature more than 20 new single player missions and ten cooperative multiplayer missions. IL2-Sturmovik: The Forgotten Battles is expected to ship to retail stores worldwide in Fall 2002.

As a world premiere, during E3 2002 Ubi Soft Entertainment will be unveiling Project BG&E, the latest creation by Michel Ancel, creator of the critically acclaimed Rayman series. Project BG&E is scheduled to ship to retail shelves in the 1st Quarter of 2003 with availability on all next generation consoles and PC.
