StarCraft II will feature the return of the Protoss, Terran, and Zerg races, overhauled and re-imagined with Blizzard's approach to game balance, designed to be the ultimate competitive RTS game. As SOE celebrates the 10th year of EverQuest, it announced two new expansions: EverQuest Underfoot (16th expansion, adding a new underground zone, Nov. 2090) and EverQuest II Sentinel’s Fate (Feb. 2010, increases level cap to 90, so you can play lower level areas with a high level character and get easy experience, integration of various achievements). These new chapters add to the EQ legacy and will deliver even more exciting adventures for fans.

With Activision's Guitar Hero being a phenomenon, EA's Rock Band going strong, and the branching out of the franchises (DJ Hero, latest Tony Hawk), it is only normal that other publishers/developers are jumping on the bandwagon. THQ chief executive Brian Farrell
revealed that they are also working on a peripheral-based game, saying it's "different from anything else out there and will give us a competitive advantage," although whether or not it's a music-based game was not mentioned.

revealed that it has tapped writer Kyle Ward, who we mentioned earlier in the week regarding the
new Hitman movie. The Uncharted film will be produced by Avi Arad, Charles Roven, Ari Arad and Alex Gartner.
