Shattered Horizon is a multiplayer FPS where teams of players experience realistic zero gravity combat and fight to survive in the aftermath of a catastrophic Moon mining accident which throws billions of tons of rocky debris into near-Earth space.

Originally announced in 2006, 4A-Games' Metro 2033, based on Russian author Dmitriy Glukhovskiy's novel of the same name, is a 3D horror/action/survival FPS with elements RPG genre game.

An investigation into his daughter's death unwittingly leads former agent Sam Fisher to discover he's been betrayed by his prior agency, the Third Echelon. Now a renegade, Fisher finds himself in a race against time to thwart a deadly terrorist plot that threatens millions. After proclaiming the game to be an X360/PC exclusive on numerous occasions, Ubisoft Montreal CEO Yannis Mallat said in a recent interview, "there's always hope."

PES 2010 will benefit from the most exhaustive raft of new features in the series’ history, with every aspect of the game benefiting from key improvements and major gameplay additions. Konami Europe has revealed that they will be "adding downloadable updates and content shortly – free of charge of course – so watch out for those."

Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising will see the most realistic modeling of conflict scenarios in a new contemporary theatre of war. By offering a multitude of military disciplines, gameplay will deliver warfare more realistic and intense than ever before, while an extensive multiplayer component will create battles on an incredible scale. Codemasters previously revealed a first patch as well as DLC is in the works, but in a recent interview Codemasters' Sion Lenton stated both will be coming soon, possibly at the same time.

Next week, we are invited to have a look at the first movie trailer of a big game-movie adaptation. While seeing the clip will be cool, the more interesting bit is the fact that the original creator will be present and available for an interview, so hopefully, we should have more on that next week.

Not much else exciting happened yesterday. If it did, you probably read about it during the day, so I'll keep it brief.

We watched the new NCIS and Castle episodes and while both were good, next week's Halloween-themed episode of Castle is what we're looking forward to. Nathan Fillion will be decked out in his browncoat outfit, a nod to the devoted fans of the "Firefly" series.

Players can take their Sims on new journeys to famous real-world inspired destinations around the globe for the first time ever and seek out new adventures. While exploring the landmarks of an exotic city, there is no telling what the Sims will find.

Heresy War is a combat space simulator set in a future where the humanity has reborn from the ashes after a catastrophic world war. The game puts the player in the cockpit of the most technologically advanced fighters in the human military fleet as he witnesses the start of a civil war.

Borderlands is an all-new sci-fi action game combining elements of first-person action titles with player customization and vehicular combat. Gearbox Software's Scott Velasquez stated that the reported friends list issue and the long connection times for finding public games are identified. A fix is in the works and Gearbox hopes to have a fix implemented before the game gets released outside of North America (on Friday).

UPDATE:  Gearbox sends word that the friends list issue has been resolved.

CSI: Deadly Intent is an all-new experience with cases written with CSI show writers, a new rendering engine allowing for more realistic graphics, and enhanced character acting and lip sync with the voices of the actors from the show, including newcomers Ray Langston (Laurence Fishburne) and Riley Adams (Lauren Lee Smith).
