Modern Warfare 2 continues the gripping and heart-racing saga with an unprecedented level of action as players face off against a new threat dedicated to bringing the world to the brink of collapse. In Aliens vs. Predator, players will have the chance to take the role of the three infamous species: the Colonial Marine, the Predator and the Alien. Each of the three species has its very own distinct story-driven, single-player campaign mode that interweaves with the campaigns of the other two species. SEGA president Mike Hayes revealed that AvP's release date will affect Colonial Marine's launch, as the company does not want the two Aliens titles too close to each other, preferably nine to 12 months apart, although commercial success of AvP could further influence that in either direction. Hayes also states that, despite the cancellation of Obsidian's Aliens RPG, a 3rd game in the franchise is planned but nothing concrete has been decided yet.

In PixelJunk Shooter, players pilot a subterranean exploration vehicle to explore the interior of diverse cave-like complexes. The player must affect the surrounding and dynamic terrain to progress. The goal is to safely navigate through each vivid stage and rescue survivors scattered about the cavernous environment.

Set 50 years after the climactic events of the original Red Faction, this third-person, open-world action-shooter will return to Mars and once again redefine the limits of destruction-based gameplay. The second Red Faction: Guerrilla DLC, Multiplayer Pack, will add eight new maps and two new modes.

Batman: Arkham Asylum is a 3rd-person action game powered by the Unreal Engine 3, that exposes players to a unique, dark and atmospheric adventure that takes them to the depths of Arkham Asylum – Gotham's psychiatric hospital for the criminally insane.

NBA 2K10: Draft Combine will allow fans to create their own custom player and begin their career by experiencing the on-court life of an NBA hopeful. Watchmen: The End is Nigh is a hardcore mature action brawler featuring bloody visceral combat in settings which are reminiscent of the film. Invincible Tiger: The Legend of Han Tao is a stylized hand-to-hand action game that provides engaging, over-the-top combat and multiple gameplay modes to explore alone or with friends online.

In Fate/unlimited Codes, handheld fighting will reach a whole new level of drama and excitement, where warriors clash in a battle royale for the Holy Grail.

Bright Shadow is an MMORPG with cute, cartoon-like characters and novel monsters – known as “Umbra, and wile staying true to its Japapense roots, it will featured updated storylines, unique new items, and new systems for nearly endless character customization and imaginative new experiences.

Rage of the Gladiator is a first person fantasy fighting game where you control a gladiator, fighting for your life in an arena. Armed with your magical warhammer and a trusty shield, you must defeat fantastic bosses including a Chimera, Beholder, and a Dragon.

Iceberg Interactive announced that GameStreamer has acquired the digital distribution rights to its PC games.

WET is a highly stylized third-person shooter that seamlessly blends acrobatics, gun play, and sword kills. With dual pistols and a samurai sword, you can engage in combat while sliding on floors, running on walls, jumping, flipping, and performing amazing acrobatic moves – leaving a massive body count in your wake.

Gatheryn is an interactive massive multi-player world of adventure, mystery and romance. You assume the role of a Victorian themed character as you explore, socialize and quest your way through the world.

Building on the franchise's core tenets of creativity, exploration and adventure, Spore Hero and Spore Hero Arena will immerse Nintendo fans into all-new experiences when the games launch this year.

The BioShock movie adaptation of 2K's action game will begin production in 2010, and John Logan (The Aviator, Star Trek: Nemesis) has written the screenplay, while BioShock creator Ken Levine is consulting. Earlier this year Pirates of The Carribean's Gore Verbinski hit a snag and the BioShock film was put on hold. Excessive budget concerns made Universal Pictures ask the involved parties to look for an alternate filming location. Due to the delay the filming now conflicts with Verbinski's next movie Rango, and while he is still going to produce, the directing has been passed on to 28 Weeks Later's Juan Carlos Fresnadillo.

Playing as the anti-hero, rage through the wrath of fearless enemies and build the nastiest and most profane army you can think of in this new-style invasion action game.

Advent Rising is a third-person, intergalactic action/adventure of epic proportions, akin to a fast-paced action movie where the player is swept up in an ever-evolving series of sequences and events. Originally developed by GlyphX Games, the game's designer Donald Mustard, now with Epic studio's Chair Entertainment, which is comprised of several former AR developers, would love to continue the original trilogy idea, but the IP is owned by Majesco.

StarCraft II will feature the return of the Protoss, Terran, and Zerg races, overhauled and re-imagined with Blizzard's approach to game balance, designed to be the ultimate competitive RTS game. At Blizzcon's StarCraft II lore panel, Blizzard revealed that Battlestar Galactica star Tricia Helfer will voice Kerrigan.
