Located in Las Vegas, Nevada, Jet Set Games was founded in 2008 by three industry veterans, most notably known for having worked on a variety of franchises such as Dune, Command & Conquer, Star Wars, James Bond, etc. Former EA/Westwood Studios execs Adam Isgreen, Rade Stojsavljevic, and Brett Sperry have co-founded the new outlet and are planning to develop new titles for iPhone, Wii, PS3 and X360.

Modern Warrior: Special Tactics is a new FPS where you take on role of a Russian special tactics unit known as Specnaz. The Motherland somehow lost another nuclear warhead to the terrorists and it’s up to the player to recover the bomb and punish some heavy armed dusky beardies.

Wind Slayer introduces blazing fast, side-scrolling 2D MMO action in a combat system that rewards precise control and timing. The game's visual style evokes images of nostalgic fairy tales with friendly sprite-based characters and gorgeous fantasy backgrounds.

Phantasy Star Portable includes the original PSU content, the Ambition of the Illuminus expansion pack, 4-player local multiplayer, PSP exclusive bosses and weapons, and a new History mode playable as a new character Vivienne.

While official word was scheduled for tomorrow, script writer Rob Yescombe spilled the beans early as he confirmed that the Crysis developer has acquired Free Radical. Known for its Timesplitters series and most recently Ubisoft's HAZE, the UK-based studio got itself in a spat of trouble last year and was forced to close down. Whether Crytek bought the studio only for its assets/IP or will let it restart and rehire, is unclear at this point. More details to come tomorrow ....

Zen Studios announced The Punisher: No Mercy coming exclusively to PlayStation Network. For the first time on consoles, you’ll see the Marvel Universe through a first-person perspective in some intense arena-based multiplayer action, complete with characters like Jigsaw, Bushwacker, Barracuda and even Silver Sable.

A little while back Good Old Games signed an agreement with FireFly Studios to add its historic RTS series, starting with Stronghold and now it has also added Stronghold: Crusader. Also added is JoWood's third-person role-playing game Gothic 2 Gold.
