Atlus' Operation Darkness is an epic fantasy WWII turn-based strategy game from Metal Saga developers Success. Set during WW2 you are part of an special ops team tasked with tracking down Hitler, featuring multiple scenarios, mixing historical events with fiction.

Activision and Infinity Ward are planning a new offensive with Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Game of the Year Edition and the downloadable Variety Map Pack (800 MS Points), a series of new multiplayer maps, both scheduled for release on April 3. Infinity Ward revealed that PS3 owners will also get the map pack somewhere late May, and while there are no details about bringing it to PC available yet, logistics are being worked out on how to make that happen.

SEGA's Sonic the hedgehog races towards new territory in this Bioware-created RPG, Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood. Apart from the fact that it will appear on the NDS system during 2008, little details are available at this point.

Obscure: The Aftermath follows the story of a group of friends attending college who discover that a mysterious black flower, with addictive hallucinogenic effects, also has the terrifying ability to transform people into hideous monsters. Ignition and apparel company Draven are giving away a Wii console, along with a copy of the game and a complete Draven outfit.

Rainbow Six Vegas 2 adds new gameplay features and stunning visuals, players will encounter a solo campaign that uses new tactical possibilities in various locations around Sin City, co-op and adversarial modes. Originally released late 2007, Halo 3 players will be able to continue the fight with Bungie's first map pack as Microsoft will released the Heroic Map Pack, three all new multiplayer maps for its recent sci-fi FPS, for free on Xbox Live coming Tuesday. As revealed earlier this week, the new Legendary map pack will launch April 15, 2008.

In case suing the Guitar Hero franchise and various retailers isn't enough, Gibson has also filed a lawsuit in the Federal District Court in Tennessee against EA, MTV Networks and Harmonix, claiming that Rock Band also infringes on that very same patent.
