Bionic Commando Rearmed is a makeover of the classic 8-bit game originally released 20 years ago, but with added content such as stunning new visuals, new weapons, online rankings, a reworked musical score and the addition of a 2-player co-op mode. Capcom asked the community what the game should be priced, and the verdict was a measly $10 for XBLA/PSN (PC to be determined).

Effective immediately, the Cyberathlete Professional League (CPL) will cease operations. Therefore, all CPL events currently scheduled for 2008 are hereby canceled. The CPL was launched in June 1997 with the mission of promoting and sanctioning video game competitions as a professional sport.

Rockstar is bringing its open-ended crime series to the next-gen consoles with Grand Theft Auto IV, in which the franchise returns to New York situated around the mysterious protagonist Nikolai. Since we know that Mass Effect is meant to be a trilogy, the sequel announcement is no surprise. With EA's recent acquisition of Bioware/Pandemic, however, a big question was whether the franchise was going to become multiplatform. BioWare senior manager Matt Atwood revealed in a
recent interview that Mass Effect 2 will be exclusive on the Xbox 360, at least for a certain period, and then make its way to the PC

After it signed an agreement with Game Republic yesterday, Brash Entertainment today announced a game development deal with California-based game development studio, Factor 5 to develop a yet unnamed title scheduled for 2010, which will be officially announced around the E3 Expo in July.
