Back in October 2007 Brazilian federal court ordered a ban on Counter-Strike and EverQuest, claiming they incited violence, are addictive as drugs according to some psychologists and thus deemed harmful to consumers' health, but judge Carlos Alberto Simoes' ruling was only implemented until earlier this week. A region specific version of CS allows players to take on the perspective of either a police officer or a narcotrafficker in Rio de Janeiro's infamously crime-ridden slums.
Mercenaries 2: World in Flames is an explosive open-world action game set in a massive, highly reactive, war-torn world. A power-hungry tyrant messes with Venezuela's oil supply, sparking an invasion that turns the country into a war zone.
But for you, international crisis is all upside: You are a mercenary, and you profit from chaos. Mercenaries 2 features a slew of potential clients, all willing to pay you to do their dirty work. All four members of the movie team (Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, Bill Murray and Harold Ramis) will lend their voices and likenesses to the game, which is set in the '90s after Ghostbusters II. Equipped with a variety of unique weapons and gadgets, players will hunt, fight and capture a wide range of supernatural villains in a funny and frightening battle to save New York City from its latest paranormal plague.
Super Street Fighter IV features the full roster of 25 characters from Street Fighter IV such as Ryu, Ken, Crimson Viper, Abel, El Fuerte and Rufus, while adding about eight characters new to the world of Street Fighter IV, such as classic combatants from previous SF games like T. Hawk as well as all-new characters such as the mysterious and deadly female fighter, Juri.
Super Smash Bros. Brawl is Nintendo's latest incarnation in the popular Super Smash Bros. series of titles, featuring all-new characters ranging from Kirby and Wario to Samus and even Metal Gear Solid's Snake.

Sony has rolled out new PlayStation Store content, starting with a few Playstation Eye titles (Tori-Emaki & Mesmerize: Trace for $1.99) and a Blast Factor Bundle ($12.99). The weekly Rock Band tracks are now also available (Last Train to Clarksville / The Monkees, All the Small Things / Blink-182, and Action / Sweet for $1.99) as well as two new circuits for MotorStorm (Eagle’s Nest and Diamondback Speedway, $2.99). Also available are playable demos for Disney;s Turok and EA's FIFA Street 3, if all else fails, there's plenty of trailers, and movie clips to watch.
