While there are hardly any details for either version available yet, an update release schedule on the official Capcom website reveals that a PSP version is also in the works. The "Devil May Cry" series is an action/adventure series in which players take control of the hero, "Dante", and join his fight against demons, devils, and various other sinister enemies bent on conquering all.

Due to a delay in the mass production schedule of the blue laser diode, Sony Computer Entertainment Europe announced that it would postpone the PS3 launch in Europe, Russia, Middle East, Africa and Australasia from its original 17th November 2006 date, to March 2007. Launch dates for Japan and North America will remain the same, which are November 11th and November 17th respectively.

Herald Tribune, Ubisoft's Yves Guillemot revealed Alive, a disaster survival title reminiscent of the
1993 plane crash movie. Alive will feature characters who rely on their instincts and each other to endure after an earthquake. "It's more oriented toward drama, more life in characters, more depth," he said, adding, "It's still about surviving, but you can't resolve things by shooting only."

Since its multiple-platform unveiling at E3, which was then reversed by a PS3-only announcement, rumors have been rampant about which platforms Assassin's Creed will actually appear on. A four-page article in PC Gamer UK is the first proof that Ubisoft is not only working on Assassin's Creed for PS3, but also for PC. While an official announcement has not been made, Ubisoft officials did confirm that a PC version is indeed in the works and is tentatively scheduled for 2007. Now that the PC edition has been disclosed, an Xbox 360 port is still possible, considering the similarities between the two platforms.
