That Clive Barker was working on a new game wasn't much of a secret, but the Hollywood Reporter has the first details. You are part of a special forces squad trained in conventional warfare and arcane arts to save humanity. Jericho is an North African city wherein lurks evil incarnate and you are on a perilous quest to reach the innermost chamber where you encounter imprisoned soldiers, World War I infantrymen, Crusaders, going further back in time as you move along. Already rumored a few months back, Assassin's Creed will not be a PS3 exclusive and also come to the Xbox 360 and PC. According to French website Xbox Gamer Ubisoft confirmed the multiplatform release at the Interactive Digital Entertainment Festival 2006 held in Cannes. No details were given whether Assassin's Creed will have a simultanious launch on all platforms or be a time exclusive.

SEGA of America's VP of marketing Scott Steinberg has revealed what they have planned for the PS3, and Wii console launches. In an interview with GameDaily, Steinberg revealed Sonic the Hedgehog and Full Auto 2: Battlelines will be PS3 launch titles, while Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz is going to be available when the Wii makes its retail debut.
