Valve announced today that it is content with the reception after recently releasing Counter-Strike: Source maps de_inferno and de_port, and on that note, give us a look at what's coming next. During E3 Activision started a Guess The City Contest for the public to try and find out (ends 11:59 p.m. PT on June 16, 2005) which location its True Crime sequel will take place. Giving away a brand new Chrysler 300 to the lucky winner, Activision has released a new trailer showing off some ingame footage, as well as giving a few hints. Today Ubisoft announced that Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Chaos Theory for the Nintendo DS has gone gold and will be in stores June 28. For the first time, Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell is available on a handheld console in full 3D.

Microsoft Game Studios announced today that Conker: Live and Reloaded for Xbox has gone gold. JoWooD Productions announced today that they have secured the vocal talents from the original team of the long-running TV series Stargate SG-1. Each of the actors will be playing the console version of their characters in the game and adding their unique characteristics to the role.

French developer Nadeo has no intentions of taking a break, as today they announced no less than two addons for Trackmania. Its latest product, Trackmania Sunrise, is getting a free downlodable expansion pack dubbed Trackmania Sunrise eXtreme, featuring new and more insane tracks than ever before. On top of that, the first Trackmania title is getting a revamp and will be re-released in October using the new Sunrise engine including a few new additions to the original 2003 release.

Cyanide Studios has released a new patch for the latest installment in the Cycling Manager franchise, 'Cycling Manager 4'. This update patch, apparently the last one, brings your retail game to v1.4 and fixes one more bugs with the riders. Read more for download links ...

Pro Cycling Manager will have more detailed animations, an experience system, stage editor and also several multiplayer modes. Cyanide Studio is using the GameBryo engine, and the Paris-based developer of Chaos League has also recently licensed SpeedTree for use in Pro Cycling Manager.

Blitzkrieg II is created with a new focus on fast-paced gameplay, a strategic layer and new tactical opportunities. A completely new engine takes WWII into full 3D where players can command famous aces and units, strategically plan battles in multiple theatres, choose their reinforcements and use a wide range of new unit types such as aircraft and ships.

DUSK2DAWN Interactive Limited (D2D) announced today it has signed Neverend, described as Final Fantasy meets Fable, from Slovak developer Mayhem Studios. Opening up a rich and highly detailed game world, Neverend puts the player into the boots of Agavaen, a descendant of the ancient fairies (a noble race of warriors and wizards). Neverend, which has taken its inspiration from the fabulous Final Fantasy RPG adventure games, will be released during Q3 2005.
