Mythic Entertainment today announced that they have secured the exclusive worldwide rights to create massively multiplayer online games for PC and console set in the fantasy world of Warhammer, created by Nottingham, UK-based Games Workshop Group PLC. The first game based upon the dark, medieval world of Warhammer will be released on PC in 2007.

Universal Combat: A World Apart went gold on April 15, but several issues with Dreamcatcher, the publishe, have not only held up the boxed retail release of that title, but also led to the termination of the agreement. As a result, rights have reverted back to 3000 AD, who is in the process of negotiating with other parties for the retail rights to this title.

Already revealed a few days ago, Digital Jesters today announced the signing of an action-packed new urban warfare title DogTag, which will be due for release on PC and Xbox 360 in 2006. Well, we have arrived in Los Angeles, and in between the pre-E3 events and media briefings (the Microsoft party rocked!), we went down to the actual E3 convention center and snuck inside ninja-style to bring you a few sneak peek photos. The Nintendo video screens seemed to have a Mario soccer game on it and the Huxley trailer was amazing, but unfortunately, our disguise was compromised and we were escorted out ... twice.
