Square Enix has
revealed Final Fantasy Dissidia, an all-new original titles in the FF franchise, however not part of the Compilation of Final Fantasy VIII or the Ivalice Alliance. No details were provided yet, except that the game may not be an RPG but it is listed as a "Dramatic Progressive Action" title, and Tetsuya Nomura, known from Kingdom Hearts, has signed on to be the character designer of the game..

While there has not yet been any official announcement, Final Fantasy Tactics A2 is Square Enix's latest foray in presenting the FF franchise as a turn-based strategy. The PSP has Final Fantasy Tactics: The Lion War and now the NDS gets the first Tactics title since the GBA. A formal announcement is expected next month at the Square Enix Party 2007.
