Whiptail Interactive, a global publisher of PC games, today announced its Q4 2003 lineup. The slate will include arcade-style racing with R.C. Cars, action-adventure with Blade & Sword and the much anticipated POSTAL 2 Gold Edition, which will include the long-awaited multiplayer feature. These three exciting titles will ship to retail stores nationwide in October and November 2003.

Electronic Arts announced today the music lineup for the upcoming videogame James Bond 007: Everything or Nothing. Recording star Mya will perform the original theme song, Everything or Nothing, for the latest videogame in the Bond franchise. The multi-talented Grammy-winning artist, Mya, will also appear in the game as the sultry Bond girl "Mya Starling". Mya co-wrote and co-produced the song with Randy Bugnitz and A&M president Ron Fair, and three variations of the theme will appear in the game. Officially licensed by MGM Interactive, James Bond 007: Everything or Nothing is shipping under the EA GAMES brand for the PlayStation2 computer entertainment system, the Xbox video game system from Microsoft, Nintendo GameCube, and Nintendo Game Boy Advance.

Activision has released a single as well as multiplayer demo for their upcoming 3D RTS game Empires: Dawn of the Modern World. The SP demo is situated in the Middle Ages and features the "Chapter 6: Heart of the Lion" scenario from the Richard Lionheart campaign and the "Chapter 4: The Coming of the Samurai" scenario from the Admiral Yi campaign. The MP demo is set in World War II featuring the single-player scenario "Chapter 2: Hunting the Desert Fox" from the General Patton campaign as well as a random multiplayer map playable online or against a computer opponent (

Namco Hometek Inc. announced today that it has expanded its relationship with Hip Interactive Corp to license several of Namco's key video-game properties for the PC. Hip Interactive will develop and distribute PC versions of "kill.switch," "Extreme Force: Grant City Anti-Crime" (working title) and "PAC-MAN WORLD 2" in North America and Europe in 2004.
